No one loves debt. I learned from the 1980s crash, the 1990s, the 2002 and 2008. They all left vivid memories; so much so that I became intrigued by the phenomenon. Why there is so much discrepancy between the real economy and the economy that was offered and showed on mainstream media.
We don’t want to change, we like the known and we sometimes fear the unknown. Nobody wants to downsize or to abandon the habits that we formed early in life. We build our believe systems quite early. They are nurtured by our characters, temperament and our environment. Cleaning is such a thing we don’t like to do. But sometimes we need to clean up our habits, our believes and the systems we depend upon. It is a future nobody wants and still we have to do it anyway because it might just be that someone else takes the lead and you suddenly find yourself without a future; or if you are lucky in a future you did not want, but you have to do it anyway.
