How will AI impact our lives?
This knowledge base is an attempt to find out how intelligent AI is and where abuse might occur. Sometimes abuse is not visible because the effects or constraints are deeply buried into the system itself. With the proverbial Argus eyes, we take a deeper look how ChatGPT behaves, if we come up with special test questions.
These questions are put to the system to test its boundaries and blind spots. It also means that it heavily weighs on the person (me) to come up with questions that pushes the AI to evolve. For now, it is not the intention to see if the answers are correct. It is pure to see how the system behaves and consequently tell the difference from any human.
The impact on our lives can only be addressed if we go beyond simple searches, chats about the weather. It is in my opinion the challenge to human creativity. Creativity is neutral. Although we mostly associate it with the arts, malicious creativity is the same process.
In an economic view, all these technologies are products from heavily money incentivized industries. Whereas life itself is absolutely organic, ecological based. Exchanges that require no money in the abstract sense. Tied to money and power, the balance may tilt some day to an inhospitable society, where humans become machines covered with flesh.
Now, this experimental research is not about the doom and gloom. It is about absolute honesty. About what we will deal with in the future. It is preparing for the tsunami of maybe trillions of information pieces that might not contribute to a sensible, meaningful conversations. If the conversations are generated with AI, then you could for instance say: ‘Let’s skip it’. Why? Because what is the point. Do we want to influence someone? Does someone want to influence somebody else? Is there a ‘wanting soul’ behind the conversation? These kinds of philosophical questions come up as I go. So the exploration is on and in game style: “Fight!.”
